The plan name describes how the AI is billed, not what you get. Everything Structura does on managed plans runs the same way on your key.
Encrypted key storage
Keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and shown nowhere after you paste them. The AI Engine page confirms encryption at rest on every BYOK site.
Provider-cost billing
Every generation call runs against your provider account. The invoice comes from OpenAI, Google or Anthropic, at the price on their pricing page, with no percentage on top.
Top or Standard model tier
Pick the provider's strongest model or its faster, cheaper one — per site by default, per campaign when you want to spend more on the posts that matter.

What does BYOK mean here?
Bring Your Own Key: Structura runs its AI calls on an API key from your own OpenAI, Gemini or Anthropic account. You pay that provider directly for tokens; Structura charges only for the software.
Which providers can I bring?
On every plan that runs on your own key, with or without an account, bring your own OpenAI, Gemini or Claude key. You can connect more than one and choose a default for text and for images. We recommend Claude for text and Gemini for images.
How much does the API actually cost?
For daily publishing with images, typically $5–15 a month at list prices. The exact figure depends on the model tier you choose and how long your posts are; your provider's dashboard shows it to the cent.
Is my key safe?
Keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256, are never displayed again after you save them, and can be revoked at your provider at any moment. Set a monthly spending limit on the provider side as well — it's your account.
Is there a cap on posts?
Free and BYOK include up to 100 posts per site per month — enough for three a day. Cloud includes 30 posts per site per month and Cloud Pro 100.
What if my key hits a rate limit or the provider is down?
The run retries, then stops and logs the error inside wp-admin. Nothing half-written is published. Connect a second provider and set it as default if you want a fallback.
Can I switch to managed AI later?
Yes. Cloud and Cloud Pro include managed AI, so no key is required. Campaigns, personas and posts carry over unchanged.
