What is an SEO checker?
An SEO checker is a tool that fetches a web page the way a search engine does and tests it against on-page SEO best practices: the title tag, meta description, heading structure, canonical URL, indexability, mobile viewport, image alt text, structured data, page size and load time. It reports which checks pass, which need improvement and which fail, usually with an overall score.
An on-page SEO checker looks at one page at a time. It can't tell you how many backlinks a site has or which keywords it ranks for; that's what an authority checker and a keyword tool are for. What it does well is catch the fixable mistakes that stop a good page from ranking.

Built by a WordPress agency
We're not a VC-backed startup chasing growth at all costs.
We're a product agency that got tired of fixing AI-generated messes. Every tool we tried failed in the same way: they didn't understand WordPress. They dumped giant blobs of HTML into the editor. They broke our carefully crafted themes. They were unmaintainable. So we built what we wanted — and then sold it.

On-page SEO checks, explained
What does this SEO checker test?
17 on-page checks: title tag and length, meta description and length, a single H1, HTTPS, canonical URL, indexability (noindex or error status), mobile viewport, image alt text, word count, structured data, Open Graph tags, page size, load time, internal links and duplicate tags. The score out of 100 weighs them together.
Does it check my whole website?
No, one URL at a time. Run it on your most important pages first: the homepage, your top landing pages and your best blog posts.
Why does a check say "Not measured"?
Some signals, like the viewport tag or a noindex directive, need a small script to run on the page. If the crawl couldn't run it, we show "Not measured" instead of guessing a pass or a fail.
I fixed an issue. Why does the result look the same?
Results are cached for 24 hours so the free tool stays free. Check again tomorrow, or test a slightly different URL, like the same page with a query string.
